PRINCE Levy is creating waves with his nwew song London Bridge.
The singer created ripples with his previous single Take it Slow. He has followed up with the controversial London Bridge, which he wrote and is produced by Jay Edge.
A video for the song has also been released. According to Prince Levy, it gives insight into a challenging period in his life.
“London Bridge is actually a true story. While I was pursuing studies at the tertiary level, I used to sell herbs as a means to help with daily expenses living on campus. I used the video to tell the story of the life I used to live in order to survive at some points,” Levy explained.
A former student of St George’s College, Prince Levy also attended the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts and studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of the West Indies.
Originally from Westmoreland, the 27-year-old singer won gold medals in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s Performing Arts competitions.
Prince Levy, whose other songs include Deep Feelings and Plastic Ras, recently performed at the Willow Creek Festival in California.
