Nateesha Stream—

RASTAFARIAN reggae singer Nateesha Stream is currently in studio working on her seven-track Extended Play (EP) project which is expected to be released in December.

The yet-to-be titled set is a precursor for her album which has a 2015 deadline.

“I think EP will work for me now, while gearing up for my album,” she told Splash.

The singer, whose given name is Nateesha Irving, said she recently recorded Miles Away, which will be included on the set.

“I think the crowd will love this one because it’s based on personal experience and it talks about someone being in love,” said the 33-year-old.

“Whatever I’m singing, I know the audience will feel it. I think when you can relate to the music, it will impact on you more,” she continued.

Hailing from the Mona area of St Andrew, the former St Joseph High School student started out singing backing vocals. She has worked for artists including Queen Ifrica, Gyptian, Lutan Fayah, Warrior King, and Cocoa Tea.

“It’s always been my dream to do music and it is what I know how to do best, although I studied business management at school,”she explained.

Nateesha Stream’s first single, Sisters, was released in 2008. Among her other releases are Come Away With Me, Tonight, No Place Like Home, Holiday featuring Gyptain, Children Cry, and Fall in Love.
