AMERICAN R&B sibling group Pointer Sisters and singer/songwriter Peter Cetera have been added to the line-up of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival slated for the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium on January 29-31.

Walter Elmore, producer of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, is excited about the latest additions and is confident they will bring great energy, diversity and massive international appeal to the festival.

“The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, as the name boasts, is built on the Art of Music and with these sensational acts, the festival is even more attractive in terms of the diversity and quality on display. You have to find ways of being fresh and creative in terms of your line-up and I think this blend that we have put together so far will excite patrons from multiple markets,” said Elmore.

Already booked for the three-day festival are Grammy-winning American singer Mariah Carey, Canadian reggae fusion band Magic! and former lead singer of American group The Gap band, Charlie Wilson.
