DANCEHALL deejay Frankie Sly is back to claim the spotlight. This time he is taking a shot with his latest single Bad.
Produced by the Chimney Records, the track is on the Happy Hour beat.
Influenced by artists including Papa San and Early B, Frankie Sly honed his talent on a local sound system before he took up music professionally. He made his recording debut in 1993.
“I used to listen to cassettes with the late great early Early B, the Doctor and Papa San and just imitate them. Then I had a friend whose dad had a sound system and I started trying out my craft every weekend on the sound system. That’s how I got started,” he said.
Frankie Sly is known for hits Wah Wah Wah, Fassy and Haters Anthem.
