SINGER Humbleton’s song Hotter the Battle with fellow vocalist Chrisinti has moved from 15 to 12 on the TFRN New York City Reggae Chart.
The song is co-produced by Joel Edwards, Christinti and Oswald Burt. Featured on My Werks Music Production’s Toxic rhythm, Hotter the Battle was released by Burt’s Villa Music label.
“I didn’t know that the song was doing so well across the globe. It was after checking the Internet and seeing the number of posts and comments on the blogs that I realised what was really happening,” said Humbleton.
The video for Hotter the Battle was shot in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. It was directed by Ronnie Holmes.
“The song speaks about a revolution and what is taking place around the world. Police shootings, wars and all the things you see happening around. Me and Chrisinti go way back and we decided to work on the track together. It was a joy working with him,” said Humbleton.
