Bushman—-

ROOTS singer Bushman makes his first trip to the east African country of Kenya next week for three shows — two in the capital Nairobi and another in the city of Kimusu.

The 42-year-old artist will be making his third visit to the Motherland which has become a happy hunting ground for dancehall and reggae acts in the last 10 years. In 2010, he played Côte d’Ivoire. In December, he performed in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Africa calls, what can I say? This year wi celebrate 20 years as a artist an’ we’d a really like do Africa more,” said Bushman.

He is also completing Conquering Lion, his first album since 2011’s Bushman Sings the Bush Doctor, his tribute set to Peter Tosh.

The new set is scheduled for released in May
