A new VIP venue, the Fiction Fantasy VIP Lounge & Deck, will officially open at the Marketplace, Constant Spring Road, Kingston, on Thursday at 6:00 pm.
The venue is the latest investment in Jamaica by New York-based Linkup Media Group, led by Jamaican-born investor David Annakie.
Fiction Fantasy has been operating under Linkup Media’s Fiction Nightlife Entertainment (FNE) brand, offering an alternative for the after-work crowd in the city, Wednesdays to Sundays between the hours of 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm.
Since its unofficial opening one year ago, the venue has been attracting a number of leading personalities. Jamaican sports stars Usain Bolt, Chris Gayle and Warren Weir are frequent visitors, and international celebrities, including Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz, Ashanti, Tyson Beckford, Tahiry Jose, Karreuche Tran, Jennifer Williams, and several NFL and NBA players have also made Fiction Fantasy Nightclub their nightlife choice when in Jamaica.
“We are excited about Fiction Fantasy, and it will no doubt benefit from being a part of the Linkup Media Group of Companies,” say Annakie, who also plans to move to Jamaica several other companies which fall under the Linkup Media Group umbrella, including Biolife, USA Credit Repair, Vitaways, New Solutions Finance, Linkup Radio, JamRock Magazine, Saige Creatives, and Saige Skincare.
The continuing reinvention of Fiction Fantasy has been successfully supervised by three key members of the Linkup Media Group: Zenmar Amir Kellier, VP of the Linkup Media Group, and Jay Madgras and Walter Derrig, who are both directors of FNE.
The team’s international connections in prominent global entertainment circles have helped to reposition nightlife in Jamaica and solidify FNE as a leading first-world entertainment club in the region
According to Group Marketing Manager for Linkup Media, Natalie Outar, major improvements have been implemented since the takeover, including a complete overhaul of the venue in layout, state-of-the-art décor and the implementation of premium bottle service.
