Jamaican songbird and Season 5 winner of NBC’s The Voice Tessanne Chin was among the performing line-up at the 26th annual National Memorial Day Concert in Washington, DC, on Sunday. She belted an inspired rendition of the Dolly Parton-penned I Will Always Love You – which was made popular by the late Whitney Houston.
Since topping the singing competition, Chin has lent her vocals to numerous social and human rights charities in North America and the Caribbean region. The Memorial Day Concert, which is broadcast on PBS, recognizes the contribution and honors the lives of United States military veterans and their families. Special segments paid tribute to disabled veterans, and children of servicemen who fell in battle.
Chin is currently working on her sophomore post-Voice effort. Her latest single Fire is featured in the Clear Scalp & Hair commercial – in which Chin also appears.
