Ky-Mani Marley—
MAESTRO, the sixth album from Ky-Mani Marley, is number one on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart this week. It is his second chart-topper.
Maestro was released by Konfrontation Muzic and has 17 tracks which includes collaborations with Damian Marley, Gentleman, Matisyahu and Kreesha Turner.
The 39-year-old Marley was born in Falmouth, but moved to South Florida as a youngster. His debut album, Like Father, Like Son was released in 1996 by Shang Music.
Marley has had four albums on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart. 2000’s The Journey stalled at number seven, while 2001’s Grammy-nominated Many More Roads peaked at number eight. 2007’s Radio topped the chart and stalled at number 38 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart.
