Cheerleader is number four on Billboard’s Streaming Songs Chart and number seven on the Radio Songs Chart. It is also the second most-successful single released in the US by Ultra Records.
In 2009, another Ultra Records single, I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) by rapper Pitbull, reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Prior to the Digital era, Jamaicans in the US million-seller club included Shaggy, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Sean Paul, Ini Kamoze, Inner Circle and Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers.
OMI is the first Jamaican to reach number two on the Billboard Hot 100 since Sean Paul’s Temperature reached number one in 2006.
