FALMOUTH, Trelawny — A fire aboard the cruise vessel Freedom of the Seas has been extinguished.
The fire aboard the vessel was discovered shortly after it docked this morning at the Falmouth Shipping Pier.
A source told OBSERVER ONLINE that a unit from the Falmouth Fire Department was immediately deployed to fight the blaze, which only affected the top of the vessel.
The extent and cost of damage were not immediately available. No injuries were reported.
