MUSIC producer Justus Arison said despite the difference between himself and singjay Blak Ryno, the entertainer’s album is slated to be released within the next 30 days.

The set, Better Tomorrow, will be on Arison’s JA Productions.

“He (Blak Ryno) called me saying that he wanted to terminate the contract. I didn’t tell him not to; all I asked him was that we speak after the album release. But he is saying he wants to do it now. He can if he wants, as I am not holding him back, but the album is a good one. I have invested a lot of time and money into it, so I will be releasing it soon,” Arison told Jamaica Observer.

According to Arison, the 14-track set shows off Ryno’s versatility. Other than the title track, the listings include Side Chick and Inside.

Blak Ryno, whose given name is Romaine Anderson, inked a four-year contract with JA Productions little over a year ago.

According to Arison, he had stopped taking bookings for Blak Ryno about four months ago following a decision the entertainer made.

“He called me to say he wanted out because he was finished with the music business,” Arison told the Observer.

“He told me recently that he is still signed to Vybz Kartel’s label, and if that’s the case the contract between me and him is void,” he said.

Blak Ryno is known for hits, including Mi Lef and Bike Back. He was part of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire. Kartel (given name Adidja Palmer) is currently serving a life sentence for murder.

Several efforts made to contact Blak Ryno proved futile.
