Singer Dillgin, who is promoting his new song Shining, is pleased with its progress.
The self-produced song is released by Wall Street Records. It is number eight on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart in New York City.
“Shining is doing tremendously well; it is getting a lot of airplay in the US and Jamaica. The video is also getting strong rotation,” said Dillgin.
A former full-time producer, Dillgin (real name Robert Bailey) worked with top-flight acts like Capleton, Beenie Man and Sizzla in the 1990’s.
He switched to recording in 2001 with the song Cuss Cuss. Based in California since 2010, he recently visited Jamaica for a month-long promotional campaign.
“I had been a good time while I was in Jamaica I did a lot of work promoting Shining and some of my other songs. I also did a performance at the Jamaica Independence Day Concert at Ranny Williams Entertainment Center. The response throughout was very good,” said Dillgin.
