Konshens—

Media reports out of Harare, Zimbabwe indicate that dancehall artist Konshens delivered “stop-start performance” at the Castle 120 Year Summer Celebrations Event last weekend thanks to a faulty generator.

It is reported that the singjay could not hide his frustration as the generator went on and off during his performance and this took the sting out of his performance.

According to Nehandaradio.com,”The Jamaican star performed with a 12-member SubKonshus band that included his brother deejay Delus and rising Jamaican dancehall star Darrio Johnson.”

The event, that celebrated 120 years of the Castle Lager brand, also featured award-winning Beatenberg from South Africa, Marco Maggiore (Italy) Ivan Mazuze (Mozambique) and several local artistes who included Winky D, Africa Revenge, Hope Masike and Evicted.

It is said that apart from the misfortunes that blighted Konshens’ set, the rest of the performances on the night went according to script.
