Damian ‘Junior Gong’—-

INTERNATIONAL reggae artist Damian ‘Junior Gong’ Marley is slated the headline act for the fourth staging of Hennessy Digicel Reggae on the Bay — Hennessy Artistry at Crawford Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago, on Saturday, October 31.

Christopher de Verteuil, brand and promotions manager at Bryden’s –Trinidad & Tobago agent for the Hennessy, said the brand has always had strong ties with music.

“2015 promises to be the largest event to date, with a star-studded line-up,” he said.

Marley, son of reggae king Bob Marley and beauty queen Cindy Breakspeare, is known for his hits including Welcome to Jamrock, Set Up Shop, and Mek It Bun Dem (ft Skrillex). In 2002 , he won Best Reggae Album for Halfway Tree.

In addition to Marley, the line-up includes fellow Jamaican reggae singer Protégé and Canadian reggae band Magic! known for their smash hit Rude. TT reggae artists Isasha, Queen Omega, Freetown Collective, Levi Myaz, King David, and Inzey & the Dopeskis Da Band are also rostered.
