Bobby Tenna—-

Bobby Tenna is one of those reggae singers fans hear about but can never put a face to the name. Five years ago, he had a hit song in Jamaica with Nothing Comes Easy.

On Christmas Day, he makes a rare Jamaican appearance at the Boom GT Taylor Reggae Christmas Extravaganza in Black River, St Elizabeth.

Born Robert Virgo, Tenna hails from Montego Bay, but has lived in northern California for several years.

His latest project is the song Still Alive. It was preceded by Where Is The Love, a cover of the Black Eyed Peas’ 2003 hit song.

Tenna is looking forward to performing on ‘Extravaganza’. The 41-year-old vocalist said even though he has been around for a while, the business is still a grind.”In this business of music you are either at the bottom or the top, there is no in-between. Right now, I’m at the bottom working my way to the top, slowly honing and perfecting my craft. We’ll see where that goes, as time is the master,” he said.
