Recording artist D-Major is excited about being managed by Lydon ‘Kingy’ Lettman, the man who has piloted Chris Martin’s successful career.

The two signed off on the management agreement last month and are looking forward to a successful partnership.

“I am really happy with this move. This has been the missing piece from my career – solid management,” the singer said. “Kingy is perfect for the part. He knows what it takes to manage an artiste and even carry him to the next level. I am sure I will get the attention I deserve. Having him as manager will open a lot more doors, so now I can just concentrate on making more music, writing more and performing. I don’t know how this never happened before.”

Kingy said he was keen on managing the singer, who has a strong catalogue of songs, including his most recent releases Deal is Done and Real Love Connection, which was produced by Arif Cooper and already getting airplay on Irie FM and SunCity radio, as well as other stations.

“D-Major is a talented artiste with experience and who has been associated with us for some time now. When we decided to make this synergy official it was a done deal even without having to think about it,” he said.

D-Major said the timing of the arrangement could not have been better, so when Lettman had approached him with the idea of managing his career, he jumped at the opportunity.

“With my new singles getting heavy rotation and Kenya seeming to be saying we need you over here in 2016 and the radio people saying it’s time I come there, it’s really a base to take on the road in 2016 because we know that the demand is out there more than ever,” he said.

The manager reveals that his immediate plans for D-Major include raising awareness about the singer, raising his profile, and exposing him to new fans across the globe.
