US based label Nature’s Way Entertainment is gearing up to release Rasta Evolution, the sophomore album from reggae artist King Mas.
Rasta Evolution features eighteen tracks, two of which are collaborations which feature singer Jemere Morgan and African entertainer AntoNeoSoul.
According to Garfield Cowan, CEO of Nature’s Way Entertainment, the album has been in the making for the past three years.
‘Rasta Evolution is a project that we have been working on for the past three years on and off. We had little obstacles along the way but we continued to push because we believe in this album and the movement of positive conscious music’, Cowan explained.
Among the producers who contributed to the project are Cowan and his wife Sanya; O. Sitawi, Damian Ebanks, M. Prospere, Ray Keys and Kenya based Mega Records.
Musicians who worked on the album include Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith, Dean Fraser, Unga Barunga, and Riff Raff among others.
Cowan added ‘I am proud to be a part of the Rasta Evolution album and it’s been a journey but it was worth it. It is going to be a one of a kind  a positive move in reggae music .King Mas definitely as a massage and a sound and we just want the whole world to give it a listen’.
Born Glenford Prospere, King Mas is the product of a Jamaican mother. His father is onetime Montserrat Calypso Monarch, Supreme.
The first single from Rasta Evolution is titled Ocean of Emotion. A video to accompany the song is to be released shortly.
