Jamaica’s Yona Knight-Wisdom won the island’s first-ever World Champs diving medal at the FINA Diving World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, against a world-class line up according to athlete’s Facebook page.
Knight-Wisdom copped the silver medal for Jamaica a short while ago in the three-metre springboard dive.
Yesterday, he became the first Jamaican male diver to qualify for the Olympics, after he scored 397 in the three-metre springboard dive in the preliminaries at FINA Diving World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
