Joseph Israel releases “People Need Hope” the first song he’s ever recorded in combination with two other artists. He’s joined by Gentleman from Germany and Tarrus Riley from Jamaica on this uplifting single flavored with live horns recorded in Jamaica from legendary players, trombonist Nambo Robinson and saxophonist Dean Fraser. The one-drop style reggae groove with its playful horn line fortifies the universal message of hope in the compelling chorus “people need hope today, so they can work it out”.
As Joseph Israel reflects on the enthusiasm surrounding the release he notes, “The song ‘People Need Hope’ is the people’s music, the people’s message, it represents artists from three countries working together to make a joyful noise.” The song is the first single from the upcoming summer 2016 release PARADISE.
“Joseph Israel’s on point insight on the state of our world, set to an awesome musical backing, is the star here, beautifully augmented by two of the strongest voices in reggae music, Tarrus Riley and Gentleman.
