Live and Direct Inc. and Rebel Sound Records are very proud to announce the release of legendary Reggae singer Triston Palma’s new album, “Lifetime”. Over the years, Triston Palma has made a name for himself in Jamaica, California, and abroad with his voice full of soul and upfull vibes and his new album “Lifetime” is a testament to that. “Lifetime” was recorded in both San Diego, California and Kingston, Jamaica and was produced by Triston himself. The executive producer is Rob Saunders from Live and Direct Inc.
With many featured artists and stand out tracks, “Lifetime” is an album that has something for everyone. The track “What a Vibe Nice” featuring Kojak and Danny English reminds us just how nice the vibes used to be at the dance. “Suffering” combines Triston’s sweet vocals with Lone Ranger’s toasting styles over a hip-hop type riddim. The song “Crazy Woman” definitely stands out on its own as being a hard driving love song full of emotion and smooth singing by Mr. Palma which was cowritten by him and Rob Saunders. The title track “Lifetime” features a new female artist from San Diego by the name of Chelly Jane and that along with the ganja anthem “Higher” are her debut appearances to the world of reggae. “Higher” also contains a verse by Rashad, a southern California rapper. Covering all the elements of something for everyone, Triston represents the Yin and the Yang with the song “Chant Rastafari” and “Bad Man Nah Take Talk” reminding everyone that Triston is the General. And you can’t forget about the track entitled “Why” commenting on some of the issues society faces today featuring none other than Nyahbinghi President Sizzla Kalonji.
