TODAY is International Record Store Day and Tuff Gong International is offering a special one-day sale on CDs, 45s and LPs from Bob Marley, Bob Marley and Wailers, The Melody Makers and other artists distributed by Tuff Gong International.

Fontana Pharmacy in Barbican, an official distributor of Tuff Gong International music and Bob Marley merchandise, will offer customers who purchase records valuing over $2,000 the chance to use their receipts to access a tour of Tuff Gong International.

“Record Store Day is for all lovers of music, players of music and collectors of music who appreciate the history of the making of the music and the evolution thereof. We are happy to be a part of the worldwide celebration of International Record Store Day,” said Debbie Bisson, brand manager for Bob Marley Group of Companies.

Started in 2007, Record Store Day was conceived at a gathering of independent record store owners as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the US and internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008.
