DESPITE media reports that veteran dancehall deejay Bounty Killer was robbed of $500,000 in cash and kind last Friday, the police said they are yet to receive reports of such an incident.
According to several media reports the incident took place off the Waltham Park Road area in Kingston.
However, when the Jamaica Observer checked with the Hunts Bay Police Station, under whose purview the incident would have fallen, the officer in charge of the station Superintendent Arthur Brown said he had no report of such an incident.
“I have no knowledge of any such incident. Nothing of the sort has been reported, come to our attention. In fact, this is the first I am hearing of the incident.” the top-cop told the Observer.
“I have no information to give,” Sharon Burke, the artist’s manager said to our queries.
