Sean Paul—-
Sean Paul becomes the fourth Jamaican to score a number one on Billboard’s Dance Music Club Play chart. Cheap Thrills , his collaboration with singer Sia, tops that table this week.
The song is also charting on charts in Europe and the United Kingdom.
Previous Jamaicans who topped the Billboard Dance Chart are singer Claudja Barry ( Down and Counting in 1986); Elephant Man (who was featured on Janet Jackson’s All Nite Don’t Stop in 2004); and Patra with Worker Man in 1994.
Sean Paul is also charting in the UK with Make My Love Go featuring Jay Sean and Hair with girl group Little Mix.
