Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw)—

Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) has pushed back the release of her gospel album When God Speaks to July 22. The set was previous scheduled for release last Friday.

“We had a few printing issues and so on, but things are in place for the July 22nd album. I know the fans are waiting on this one, but they can go ahead and pre-order,” she told the Jamaica Observer.

Produced on her Minister Marion Hall label, the 14-track set features works from musicians including Sly and Robbie and producer Bobby Digital.

A mixture of reggae, dancehall, soca and soul music, the track listings includes You Are Worthy, Room in My House, I Won’t Worry, and I Had Jesus. The last was released last month.

“It is a very powerful album. It’s God’s masterpiece. He filled my mouth with lyrics and melodies. I got a lot of inspiration from the Bible. God has been speaking to me since I got baptised and a lot of this is highlighted in the album,” she said.

Hall said she is hoping that the listeners will receive comfort and inspiration from each track.

“I want them to know by each song that God heals and forgives. I have transformed from being a Saul to a Paul. I want everyone to know that a person can never be too unclean for God to cleanse them. I am hoping that this album will transformed a lot of lives,” she said.

On June 22, Hall was invited to performed at the third Annual Caribbean & African International Leadership Conference & Awards Gala in Washington DC. In addition to performance, she introduced King Adeyeye Ogunwusi of Nigeria and His Royal Majesty (King Adamley I) Dr Kingsley Fletcher, founding pastor of Life International, at the event.

“The devil was giving me a fight and I had a few glitches, including a wardrobe malfunction, but God worked everything out,” she said.

Currently in New York, Hall is promoting her upcoming album.
