Eric Donaldson & Half PintJamaican reggae icons Eric Donaldson and Half Pint are some of the artists lined up to entertain reggae enthusiasts at a massive concert in Nairobi.

The two music legends will be joined on stage by other reggae greats including Leroy Sibbles, Pam Hall, Endel Major and Kenya’s self-proclaimed “First Lady” of reggae Nazizi.

The event dubbed the Rise Up Reggae Concert will be held at Carnivore on October 1, 2016.

Donaldson is known for hits such as Cherry Oh Baby, Land of My Birth, Traffic Jam, Lonely Nights, You Got to Let Me Go, Rock me Gently and Come Away .

Half Pint is famous for his songs including Just Be Good, Level The Vibes and Substitute Lover .

The concert will come after an exciting string of other reggae concerts in Kenya.

On September 24, reggae and lovers rock singer Romain Virgo is scheduled to perform in Nairobi.

He is known for his hit jams such as Stay With Me, Soul Provider and Dark Skin Girl .

Another Jamaican reggae singer Jah 9 will also perform in the city and at the Diani beach in September as part of her ‘The Year of 9 Tour’.

On June 18 this year, one of world’s most loved reggae singers Chronixx was in Nairobi for a concert.

The Here Comes Trouble hit singer’s performance at the KICC was a thriller.
