TURN Me On, the 2003 hit song by Vincentian singer Kevin Lyttle, is back on the Billboard charts.
A cover version by American electronic band Cheat Codes featuring singer Dante Klein, titled Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On), is number 14 on the magazine’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.
It is also 53 in Australia, 41 in Belgium, 19 in Denmark, 49 in Germany, 30 in New Zealand, 15 in Norway, 12 in Sweden, and 40 in the United Kingdom.
Turn Me On has been covered by several artistes, including British singer Jay Sean, American rapper Himanshu Suri, Canadian singer/songwriter Raghav and American duo CocoRosie.
A remixed version by Lyttle, produced by Red One and Nely, and featuring Jamaican deejay Spragga Benz, made Billboard charts in 2003.
The original Turn Me On was recorded and released in the Caribbean in 2001. Two years later it was a massive hit in Europe, the United States and Australia.
That version was produced by Adrian Bailey and featured on Lyttle’s self-titled debut album.
