Allan “Skill” Cole is suing Island, Universal and Tuff Gong music over the copyright of Bob Marley’s songs “War” and “Natty Dread.”
Cole who was a Jamaican soccer star says he co-wrote the songs in the 1970’s and is suing for his share of the copyright profits from the songs and lawyer fees.
Though Allan “Skill” Cole has decided to drag them through a New York City court, he is hoping there can be an amicable settlement out of court. He made the revelation during IRIE FM’s Wake Up Call with Dj Amber.
