Singer Anthony Cruz calls for more appropriate behavior from the females in his new song, Heart, Mind And Soul, produced by Pearl Haabah Production.
Cruz, who has taken a cultural path with his songs this year, said some of the dance moves and utterances by the ‘fairer sex’ are extreme. He wrote Heart, Mind And Soul with Patrick Howell, head of the Pearl Habaah label.
“We want to let the ladies know that they are queens and princesses and they have to cut out that kinda behavior. There are still men out there who love with heart, mind and soul,” said Cruz.
Cruz and Howell have collaborated before. They co-wrote several of Cruz’s songs including Mama’s Blessing and Block The Road.
Howell has written a number of songs for artists such as John Holt, Yellowman and Pan Head. The latter’s African Princess is one of his most popular compositions.
Heart, Mind And Soul is one of the songs that will be on Elect Of Jah, Cruz’s next album which is scheduled for release in early 2017. It has songs produced by Bobby Digital, Sly and Robbie and Lloyd ‘King Jammy’ James.
His previous album, Inna The Dance, was released in 2014.
