Buro Banton recently signed his contract.

Veteran dee jays Buro Banton and Peter Metro, have resigned a manager/booking agent contract with broadcast journalist Clinton Lindsay, 33-years after their first association with Mr. Lindsay. It was back in 1983, when the dancehall masters signed up for their first trip to the United States.

Both artists have not been in the US in over 20-years, but have traveled to other regions of the world, where demands for them have been great. Mr. Lindsay had given up on the booking and management aspects of the business, and was only concentrating on the radio side of his career.

“For the past two years or so, I’ve noticed the trend towards retro artists and people have been suggesting that I come back and lead the trend, like I did in the 80’s…” stated Clinton Lindsay.
