LOS ANGELES, USA — An unidentified man walks down the driveway, Sunday at the scene where reputed Jamaican gangster Robert Davis, alias ‘Rodigan’, and two other people were shot dead and 12 wounded during a birthday celebration attended by more than 100 people at a restaurant on Rimpau Street in Los Angeles, California.
Last night the Jamaican police say the shooting death of Rodigan, who is from Sunlight Street in the Maxfield Avenue area, has been causing unease in the area and could cause renewed clashes between the notorious Rat Bat Gang and rival Raspberry Gang.
According to the Jamaican police, Rodigan, who was the main financier for the Rat Bat and Sunlight Street gangs, persons loyal to him have been planning to carry out coordinated attacks on members of the Raspberry Gang. The police, in appealing for calm last night, say both the Los Angeles Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations say they have found no evidence to link overseas members of the Rasberry Gang to the shooting.
