Shaggy—

SHAGGY has had a presence in Billboard’s Reggae Digital Song Sales Chart for some time with his past hits, Boombastic, Angel and It Wasn’t Me. His latest single, That Love , released eight weeks ago, is currently number one.

That Love is produced by Scott Storch, known for his work with Chris Brown and Britney Spears, among others) and released by Brooklyn Knights/Sony RED. It removed OMI’s Cheerleader from the top spot.

In an interview with Vibe.com in August, Shaggy said the song is dedicated to people in the United States military. “That Love” is dedicated to our service men and women who are deployed from their loved ones. Sacrifices are made on both sides, military personnel and dependents. I personally have felt that, being deployed in the first Gulf War and being away from my loved ones. We give thanks for their service,” Shaggy said.
