UNITED Kingdom-based reggae singer Tall Rich said he would be heading to Jamaica in a few weeks to promote his album Changes. According to the entertainer, he would be re-releasing the set, which premiered in 2011.

“I decided to release it in Jamaica as I want it to reach a more global audience. It has a powerful message that I want to be heard worldwide. It is more of a roots reggae album but it is for any market that gets the message,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Tall Rich said he has teamed up with American promotions company, Empress Promotions, in getting the word out to the Caribbean, with Jamaica being the first stop.

Comprising 14 tracks, Changes is co-produced by Star Gate Records, Shady and Imperial Productions, and Steven Grosset. Its track listings includes What’s Going On, Praise Jah, and Rastafari Gives Us Everything.

In addition to Changes, Tall Rich said he would be promoting the title track of his upcoming EP We Are Not Free. That set is slated to be release during the first quarter of this year.

We Are Not Free is about liberating ourselves and educating people about the injustices that the world sometimes have to offer,” he said.

Tall Rich (real name Eric Hamilton) spent his earlier years in St Thomas before migrating to the United Kingdom in 2004. While in the UK, he has been focusing on his career and has been working with music industry people in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.

“I am now pushing my music career to the fullest as I have a strong message that needs to be heard. Here is a man who is conscious in teaching and praising the words of Rastafari. I speak about what is going on now in the world and relate to those who feel the realities of the world,” he added.
