Teflon—
Reggae and dancehall artist Teflon has been on a crusade calling for the music to be cleaned up. The artist has released a single titled ‘Legacy’ in which he tackles the problems facing the music and the industry at large.

“It’s time for us to take a stand to nurture the music. We have to stand on our feet and defend the music because a lot of persons benefit from music in general,” Teflon said.

Legacy is produced by Yard A Love Records.

Teflon has been vocal in recent media interviews, asking the authorities to remove the negative lyrics from the airwaves. He has also been making an appeal to his fellow entertainers to refrain from recording negative lyrics and in particular lyrics that promote violence.

“This has been going on for a long time so I will never embrace it. I have three daughters so I have to be a responsible parent as well. We as entertainers who sing negative music need to come together and show the people that this is music and it’s for fun. We don’t need to be at war because if we war, the people who are listening will be influenced by the negatives,” he said.

The self-styled unruly Bobo recently released songs like No Regrets, When You Bless and Goiter. He has been working with producers including Notnice, YVP, ANJ, Yard a Love Records and Alfaces Entertainment.
