Kevin Isaacs is a singer/songwriter from Kingston, Jamaica. Born on 9 September 1979, Kevin has been singing from the age of 13, his first song recorded at that age was entitled “Thought we were friends”. Kevin’s debut album, “Father & Son”, released in 2000 was an album featuring himself and his father the late great legendary reggae icon Gregory Isaacs, which was released on the Maritime label. Kevin has also completed a solo album which was written and produced by himself and his father, this album is soon to be released. Kevin has appeared on compilation albums such as Joe Gibbs presents Inner City Roots and Jet Star’s Big People Music Vol. 12. He has also written and produced singles entitled “Come on home” and “Revolutionist” for which he also has a video. Kevin has recently written songs entitled “If you leave” * “Red carpet” that’s the way” A message” which were Co-produced by Bobby Digital for which Kevin is executive producer for his label Kevin Isaacs Music, he has put out an Ep name ” if you leave” available globally digitally. And most recently and album with Tallawah Reggae Band named Evolution for the Europe market. Also in the pipeline to be release globally is a digital album titled “Dad” it’s a tribute album dedicated to his late great father.
Kevin is a versatile artist and though he has a style and sound which is akin to that of his father, he also has his own sound. Kevin has also toured extensively throughout America, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.
Kevin’s father, the late Gregory Isaacs was not only Kevin’s father but also his idol and he aspires to continue his legacy which he knows would make his father very proud.
