Dancehall superstar Alkaline allegedly refused an offer to sign for Pop Superstar Sean Kingston’s record label before their recent beef.
According to media reports, the “Impact” deejay allegedly turned down an opportunity to sign for Kingston’s Time Is Money record label following their “Ride On Me” remix collaboration.
Sources say the Vendetta deejay flatly refused Kingston’s offer as he never saw it doing anything towards the growth of his career, and was unconvinced by the superstar’s work with acts previously signed to his label.
The tensions between the two artists were recently exposed after Kingston announced the signing of Alkaline’s long time rival Tommy Lee Sparta to his record label.
Sources close to the vendetta camp however labeled the “One Away” crooner as “badmind,” claiming he is only bitter over Alkaline’s success and refusal to sign to his record label.
Sean Kingston had previously claimed that his beef with Alkaline emerged out of his continued display of respect for the deejay’s rival Vybz Kartel and the gaza camp.
