Veteran reggae artist Leroy Artist Brown has amassed a huge following over the years with his increasingly impressive performances and his infectious hit renditions.
The reggae act is making his comeback with his new hit single Shelter In The Time Of Storm, a song that has been receiving tremendous feedback since its release earlier this month.
The song is a remake of the older version which was done by Luther Ingram in the early ’70’s. In his earlier years, Brown performed the song on numerous occasions as a part of his set and this motivated him to remake the song 40 years later.
“This song has always been a favorite of mine. I have performed it in my set countless times, so I decided to actually record it,” he said.
In the song, he is merely reassuring his love that no matter the circumstances that she might be facing, he will always be there to help.
In other words he promises to always be her tower of strength and protect her from all harm.
Brown puts his trademark sound to the track and, in a bid to help the track’s ascension, Brown will be shooting a video for this song.
Brown hints that this song will be a part of his forthcoming album.
The ultimate goal for Artist is to get this new song as much recognition as possible.
“I have been getting a good response so far, but my main objective is to get the song as much attention as possible especially on the international market,” he said.
Brown is also promoting his 13-track album True Confessions that was released earlier this year.
