Mavado—

MAVADO is being billed as the headline act for the 20th edition of Dominica’s World Creole Music Festival on October 27 at Festival City, Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau, the capital of that Caribbean isle.

The artiste lead the Jamaican delegation, which includes Etana and Romain Virgo, for the three-day festival.

The organizers said Mavado will join an illustrious list of reggae and dancehall artists to perform at the indigenous music festival, adding that it is envisioned that he will bring his crafty lyrics, high energy, world acclaim and large fan base to the festival.

The festival will feature local, regional, and international acts covering a diverse range of creole music, from bouyon to soca and calypso, reggae, afro-funk, Haitian kompas to cadence-lypso and Zouk.
