U-Roy,,The Skatalites, The Techniques, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Gregory Isaacs, and Beres Hammond are the veteran acts currently holding down positions on the Billboard Reggae album chart.

The Skatalites is at number 14 with Foundation Ska, a boxed set released by Studio One in February. That set has sold 774 copies to date and has been on the chart for 20 weeks.

The group also holds number 40 on the chart with Best of the Skatalites. After five weeks, it has sold 309 copies sold to date.

The Techniques & Friends — Winston Riley’s Rock Steady and Early Reggae (1968-1969) moves up five places to 21 in its second week on the chart. It has sold 69 copies.

Bob Marley & the Wailers’ The Legend Live: Santa Barbara Country Bowl, November 25th, 1979 topped the Billboard Reggae album chart upon its release last November. After 39 weeks, it has sold 3,819 copies and holds the 22nd position.

U-Roy scores his first charting title as his 1974 release Dread In a Babylon (Virgin Records) is new at 26 with 24 copies sold.

Released on August 20 via Jet Star Music, the five-song Beres Hammond Reggae Hot Shots enters the chart at 41 with 15 copies. Hammond’s last charting title was 2012’s One Love, One Life which peaked at number 1.
