Popular singer Jodian Pantry is thanking her lucky stars after surviving a motor vehicle accident on Half Way Tree road on Monday night.
“I am lucky to be alive because the vehicle slammed into my side, the passenger side, the driver of the vehicle said he never saw us. I have a neck injury and a minor shoulder injury. I am still feeling shoulder pain and I can’t sleep on my left side properly, I am in total discomfort, so I have an x-ray appointment today,” she told Loop Jamaica reporter Claude Mills.
The accident occurred on Monday night in the vicinity of the Total Gas station in Cross Roads at about 9 pm.
“I have been serving God well and He is not through with me as yet. I am happy the day I returned to following the cross. All things have been working for my good and for that I am grateful. I just want to tell motorists to forget about the haste, and be observant on the roads,” she said.
Pantry has twice placed second in local talent competitions – the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission gospel competition and the Digicel Rising Stars talent competition.
The singer is known for the duets, Bed of Roses and Loving Feeling, alongside Noddy Virtue.
