SHENSEEA’S music career is only a year old, yet the Jiggle Jiggle artist is building her reputation as a fiery artist, so it is understandable that she caught the attention of the Ever Blazin’ Sean Paul.
The two released Rolling earlier this month. The single sees the acts going line for line over a bass — heavy, but catchy dancehall beat, spitting hard-hitting lyrics about dancehall’s favourite topic— the prowess of man and woman.
“I was impressed with her from the beginning and to anyone who may doubt her in the least bit, know this: I’ve seen her in the studio and she’s a beast in there — she can really do her thing. Mi proud to do the song with her and mi feel like with her, it’s always gonna be a great vibe. I can’t say too much but the two of us have a lot in store,” said Sean Paul.
Fans were elated to see Charly Black, Chi-Ching Ching, Sean Paul, and Shenseea pushing the dancehall waves afar on Eastern Parkway for the Labour Day West Indian Day parade in New York on Monday, September 4.
When asked about him hosting the artists on his carnival truck, Sean Paul shared: “I wanna tour with a few people who I’ve already done songs with…[Chi-Ching] Ching a do road with me on my last few tours and it has been great, the people love our music and I am looking forward to doing more, [Shenseea] has the talent for it and I think that she might be joining the ranks to come do the thing, so people betta look out.”
Shenseea is currently on tour in Canada while Sean Paul and Chi-Ching Ching are now on tour in the US where they will rock the stage tonight at The Novo in Los Angeles. They performed at the annual Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas last night.
