Caribbean Airlines (CAL) is today denying any association with the massive gun seizure at the Miami International Airport on November 13.
A statement from the airline insisted that no contraband items were carried or pre-arranged to be carried on any of its flights.“Caribbean Airlines reiterates that it adheres to the strictest security standards in keeping with the statutory requirements of all jurisdictions into which the airline operates,” the CAL statement said.

US law enforcement officials seized over 100 illegal firearms in a shipment destined for Jamaica at the Miami International Airport in Florida.

Reports are that on November 13, the authorities were conducting routine security screenings at the airport when two blue barrels and two cardboard boxes, which were listed as comprising household and food items, were found to contain 119 firearms and 267 assorted rounds of ammunition.
