Don’t Make Me Wait, the first single from Sting and Shaggy’s collaborative album 44/876 , debuts in the number one spot on this week’s Billboard Reggae Digital Singles Sales chart. The song was released by A&B/Interscope.
Shaggy first performed the song with the British rocker at the Shaggy and Friends concert at King’s House in St Andrew on January 6. The two also did the song at the Grammy Awards in New York City on January 28.
This is the fourth number one on that chart for Shaggy and the first for Sting. Shaggy’s previous chart-toppers are It Wasn’t Me, Bombastic, Angel, and You Girl (featuring Ne-Yo).
44/876 is due for release on April 20. Among its collaborators are musician Robbie Shakespeare, Latin rapper Daddy Yankee, Morgan Heritage, and dancehall artistes Aidonia and Agent Sasco.
