The Dancehall Governor and Pastor, Lt. Stitchie, is putting the Word into action when makes charitable and humanitarian appearances on three events from 23rd – 25th February, in St. Thomas UVI. He will be partnering with Dr. George Phillips, Senior Pastor of the Assembly of God Church and Gospel Artiste and Pastor, Trinidad &Tobago’s Terrence Baynes, in an effort to assist some of the many victims of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
The US Virgin Islands of St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas were severely damaged by both hurricanes and are still very much in the recovery mode. When Stitchie was asked his reason for doing these events for free, considering his currently high visibility and demand, he humbly said, “Money is not everything and the wealth that I have is life and so I share it with people. I just love people and God made us all, and I did nothing to earn my gift, so it’s a humbling, but honored position to be in and to be able to use it to the benefit of those who are in need the most”.
