ROC Riva the group…. consist of three creative musical minds, with lots to say, and voices that can lyrically and melodically tell you stories of all times, across all genres of music. Derrick “Percent” Brown control’s the joystick at the helm, and he works assiduously to write and produce the group’s songs that reflects the plight of the world, his country’s culture, politics and attitudes. He hail from Kingston and was signed to Steele and Clevie records as a part of the 2000 Crew that did the hit song Remember Da Days featuring Bushman, Sasha, Benji Myers, Delly Ranx and more.. Derrick is a truth teller, he is straight forward, he is not afraid to express himself, and he is unapologetic when he holds the mic. This is reflected in his compositions that often stir controversy offering an interesting approach to Dancehall…

The single “Couldn’t Mary Boy” has opened the group to larger demographic  since it was added to heavy rotation on Clinton Lindsay’s Foundation Radio Network. The song is currently No.25 on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Music Chart.
