Steel Pulse shared the single “Cry Cry Blood” from their upcoming new album Mass Manipulation. Due out May 17 on Rootfire Cooperative/Wiseman Doctrine, Mass Manipulation is the band’s first album since 2004’s African Holocaust.
The British reggae band announced Mass Manipulation last fall and shared the single “Stop You Coming And Come,” which is one of 17 tracks on the new record. Last year also saw the veteran group celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of their debut album, Handsworth Revolution.
“For when it comes to addressing the current issues of the world, we hope that [Mass Manipulation] will be able to sharpen the minds of man to uproot all negativity, and foster embracement,” vocalist David Hinds told Rolling Stone. “Presenting each and every one of us a higher level of consciousness for a harmonious future.”
