On Demand is the title of a five-song EP by Carlene Davis, scheduled to be released in June by VP Records. It contains remixes of three songs from her album, The Assignment, which came out last November.

The songs that have been remixed are The Assignment, Shake It Off and Martha’s Gone to Westmoreland. The other songs, Hallelujah and Rise Up, are new recordings.

Hallelujah hears Davis collaborating with former Jamaican soccer star Ali McNab. She did Rise Up alongside Kevin Downswell, Rondell Positive and her daughter, Naomi Cowan.

According to Davis, “With every album we do, we always strive to give our best, no short cuts and our choice of musicians including co-producer Dave Green brought fresh energy for this time.”

Drummer Dave Green, keyboardist Othneil Lewis, bass guitarist Aeion Hoilette and guitarist Lamont “Monty” Savory are some of the musicians who contributed to On Demand, which is produced by Davis’ husband, Tommy Cowan.

The 17-song Assignment was also released by VP Records. It is the follow-up to Dripping Blood which entered the Billboard Reggae Album Chart in July, 2015 and peaked at number two.

Cowan also directed Davis on The Assignment which is her 11th gospel album.

It includes the song Pray For Me with Marion Hall.
