Samory I —

In 2017, reggae chanter Samory I dropped his début album Black Gold , and since then it has been a non-stop ride for the young artiste as he takes his sound to the market, both locally and internationally.

Two years later, Europe continues to be a well- spring for Samory I and come tomorrow, he is set to head off to Europe along with his band for a month-long tour to continue to satisfy audiences who are still drawn to his music and the album which was produced by sound system selector turned producer Rory Stone Love. This is his third tour of continental Europe and the stops include Belgium, Portugal, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Hungary, and Italy. This tour will see the artiste performing in Italy for the first time. He is billed to entertain the audience at the Roots and Culture Festival in Udine, a city in north-eastern Italy on July 26.

Samory I seems characteristically calm about this trip, noting that his fans can expect the same level of music and message that has always been his hallmark.

“The feeling is the same as usual. I man have a message that I want to deliver to the people dem. I fully understand that. So what the people dem can look forward to is just pure positive energy and pure vibration coupled with the blessings of the most high,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

He shared that he is currently working on new music with producer Wynta James and currently has a new single, Survive, released on the Upsetter Music label that he will be promoting while in Europe.

The fact that he is in demand after dropping Black Gold is not missed on Samory I.
