Adrianna Clark is the daughter of William “Bunny Rugs” Clark, former lead singer of the legendary reggae group, Third World. She first started singing as a member of her elementary school choir before Rugs introduced her to the recording studio when he featured her on his gospel album entitled “I’m Sure”. Adrianna later attended the Osceola County School for the Arts where she studied vocal music and technique. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of South Florida where she was a singer in the University Women’s Choir. She went on to pursue her Master’s degree in International Multimedia Journalism at the University of Kent in England. During her studies in England Adrianna interned at the BBC South East, and at the university’s TV station, KMTV.
After her studies, Adrianna joined the praise and worship team at her church, Life Changing Global Ministry in Kissimmee, Florida and her passion for singing took to new heights as she committed her voice to God. She began singing and ministering at local churches, and performing at many Caribbean and community events in Florida.
Check out Adrianna’s first single and video“Dancing on the Floor”, a remake of the Third World 1981 hit, that featured her late dad Bunny Rugs on lead vocals. A production collaboration with well known Jamaican bass player and music producer Taddy P, “Dancing on the Floor” is released jointly on Taddy P’s Bass Inna You Face Records and Adrianna’s Raw Edge Productions labels, and is distributed by VP Music Group’s digital distribution arm VPAL.
