The inaugural edition of the Miami Beach Pop Festival will feature a collaborative tribute to the legendary Bob Marley.

Set for Friday, November 8, the tribute will feature Stephen Marley and his brother Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley sharing the stage with a slew of artists including fest headliner Jack Johnson, Latin artist Nacho, and Win Butler, frontman of Arcade Fire.

The genre-blending combo will perform a catalog of Marley’s classic hits, backed by an all-star reggae band.

“Bob Marley is perhaps the most beloved artist in the world, and his unifying message is exactly what Miami Beach Pop is all about,” says festival co-founder Paul Peck.

“The impact of his music and spirit cannot be understated. We are honored to create this historic show during sunset on the first day of the festival. It will be an unforgettable moment in time,” Peck added.

In addition to the tribute, the festival’s debut will also feature performances from Juanes, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Jessie Reyez, Bomba Estereo, Margo Price, Two Feet, Magic City Hippies, DJ Windows 98 (a.k.a. Win Butler of Arcade Fire), Roosevelt Collier, Spam Allstars, and the Miami Beach Senior High Rock Ensemble.

The festival takes place from Nov 8 through Nov. 10 on the beach adjacent to Ocean Drive and Lummus Park.
